About

About the speaker

Chonghe Zhang (Cico) is the speaker of each session, giving a public talk on various fundamental questions of humanity and facilitating deep conversation and inquiry.

He lives a simple and peaceful life without being trapped by the ego, free of hypocrisy, division, and deception. What he says in the session is what he lives, and what he lives forms what he says.

He dedicates his life to facilitating anyone earnest to observe themselves objectively, gain insights into various life challenges, and discover the truth of living.

There is no better way than simply stating this: Cico shares the same perception with Laozi. Cico does not live in any self-centered reality; he lives what his mind observes and perceives without being distorted by the ego. Without ego, there is only one reality—truth.  Everyone can verify this by ending the ego, which demands great care, diligence, and thorough penetration into various twisted things.

Cico's English presentation of the 81 chapters of the Tao Te Ching stays coherent because Cico's direct perception is one with Laozi's; otherwise, coherence is impossible when the translator's ego has a self-projected interpretation of the Tao Te Ching.

The English presentation becomes the book Tao Te Ching -- Laozi Speaks English, the reading material for each session.

A free copy of the eBook is available here (Google Play).

Note: Cico's teaching is totally independent of any books, including this book. He lives what he teaches and teaches what he lives. He denies nationality. His teaching belongs to no category. Taoism is irrelevant. Cico does not know anything about Taoism; neither does Laozi.
